Coffs Cycle Challenge 2012

Matthew Parnell - Thursday, August 09, 2012

Matt at the Coffs Cycle Challenge 2012Great day last Sunday for the Coffs Cycle Challenge, except for almost being run off the road by Tony Abbott and the Parliamentary Peloton, somewhere near Bonville on the return leg.

Very happy to have lasted 47 of the 60k ride on minimal training – 2 hours and 45 minutes later, including a stop or two for leg cramps! However,  just couldn’t pass home without stopping on the return leg! The image above was taken at the start when I was happy and not sore. This is a great community event which gets better each year. A big “wheelie” to the organisers, especially Coffs Rotary Clubs.
